  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan. Set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, combine the ground beef, chopped onion, garlic powder, dried parsley, salt, and pepper. Brown the beef and cook the onion until translucent.
  3. Cook the egg noodles according to the package directions.
  4. While the noodles are cooking, drain the sauerkraut and spread it evenly in the bottom of the prepared baking pan. Sprinkle the sauerkraut with brown sugar.
  5. Drain the cooked egg noodles and layer them over the sauerkraut and brown sugar. Then, spread the cooked ground beef mixture over the noodles.
  6. In a separate bowl, mix one can of warm water with two cans of tomato soup until smooth. Pour the soup mixture over the ground beef layer, ensuring it spreads evenly.
  7. Top the casserole with shredded Swiss cheese.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-45 minutes, or until the cheese is golden brown and the edges are bubbling.
  9. Let the casserole stand for 5 minutes before serving.
