Hot Virginia Dip

  • 4 oz dried beef
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons half and half
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 cup pecan halves


  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, sauté the pecan halves in butter until toasted, about 3-5 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and sour cream until smooth. Add the dried beef, chopped green onions, minced garlic, and half and half. Mix well to combine.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and top it with the toasted pecans.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven until the dip is hot and bubbly, about 20 minutes.
  6. Allow the dip to rest for 10 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
